New PC build Max €1000, have a rough spec

    1. What is your budget? [€1000]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming (BF3/Batman arkham origins / Also Photo editing work on lightroom+photoshop with large files]

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes, Win7 Pro]

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [80 Gb Sata Hard Drive/DVD.] But also want a 128Gb SSD

    5. Do you need a monitor? [No]


    5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [1920x1080] [No]

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [No.]

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes]

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]

    9. When are you purchasing? [In 5-20 days]

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [No]

    Case: Cooltek X1, Midi Tower, ATX, schwarz, ohne Netzteil
    Graphics Card:Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 WindForce 3X OC, 2GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort
    Power supply:be quiet! Pure Power L7 530 Watt
    Harddisk:OCZ Vector 128GB

    Any help greatly appreciated, been a while since I've upgraded so not sure if the spec is right, would like to be able to play latest game at best quality for once.

    Looks good. You might want to throw in a decent CPU heatsink for overclocking and keeping noise down. E.g., the coolermaster 212.

    You do realise you can get the gigabyte r9 280x 3gig card for 30 more than the 760?

    The r9 280x is as good as a 770 a 340 euro+ card.

    More memory and more power. Worth it in my opinion.
