Btea and erasmus

    Hi,

    Searched the forum already but didnt get a dedinitive answer...

    Just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to keep BTEA while on an erasmus placement for college! Any info, from people who have preferably, would be appreciated.

    Yes it's possible if you are going for a semester, as that's what I did.

    Not sure if the rules apply for an entire year. Perhaps if it is a compulsory part of your course they may allow it. Best to speak to your local SW office and see what they say before you go ahead and apply for it.

    Yeah its just one semester for me too. Just want to make sure first though, coz id be stuck otherwise. I did try the social welfare office on the phone about 5 times today, but no answer. Ill just have to drop into them or something!
