Am wondering is there anywhere you buy metal necklace chain either online or in specific shops to hold a pendant i have at home as the cord holding it has worn out.

Hi, you should be able to buy a simple pendant chain, without the pendant, in nearly any jewellers. Almost all of them will sell chains and pendants separately.
