Is it just me or have the Irish Times started bringing in changes to the SBP already?
I notice they have a property section every week now, whereas it used to more like once a month (I think). Possibly related to the IT ownership of Myhome.ie?
I notice a lot more sponsored articles too. The ones with the 'experts' from a company plugging themselves. They were always there, but seems to be more now.

Pretty sure they always had a property section.

What's it got to do with the Irish times?

Apart from the change in font on the title and reduced overall quality of the articles I have not seen any improvements but im willing to give it time.

Dont know where I got the impression that the IT bought it, maybe it was interested in buying at one point

Ah, the IT were bidding with Thomas Crosbie a few months back, but didnt get it in the end:

OK, never mind, nothing to see here

Changes since Paul Cooke came in?

Less journalists, Richard Curran, Adrian Weckler and others are gone.
    Website less frequently updated.
Quality of the publication has continued on a downward curve. The SBP used to be a must-read for me, no longer.

I must say i find SBP still a good read and their magazine in my opinion is excellent.

Two things that strike me: Firstly the production staff are either part of or being represented bu the NUJ. Secondly that they have 13 production staff - which would seem heavy (it depends of the definition of 'production staff')
