Obligatory Question that comes up every time this box set comes up on BA

Is it the Cinema edition or the extended? Guessing at the price it's the former but i live in hope.

Edit : Just realised it's not Blu Ray....so i'm out

I got the blu-ray extended in HMV there the other week for 34.99, I'm sure it'll drop when the Hobbit extended comes out but that's life.

If it's DVD, it's on CD Wow for 8.99, and that's full price so discount codes etc can be used.

Xtra-vision had the Blue-Ray extended version for 29.99 when I was in a week ago.

Early editions were suppose to have a green kinda filter or something over it but I believe in later releases they resolved that, I could be wrong tho.

The green tint only affects the EE of FOTR. It was never fixed or even acknowledged by the studio who insist it's meant to look that way. Most people don't notice it though and it's otherwise a huge improvement on horrid transfer FOTR received for the theatrical boxset.

Did the DVD extended edition have any such problems?

No. The HD iTunes version was apparently okay as well.
