Keeping lobsters as pets

Anybody know if this can be done viably? As far as I know, the setups restaurants use wouldn't keep a lobster alive long term (fun fact: Lobsters are immortal provided they don't catch a disease or are killed physically)

We'll assume for the moment I'd only be keeping one marine lobster.

So do you think a regular large marine setup would cut it? Or would I need something specialist?

    Thanks

Keeping it cool will be your biggest concern.
Most houses will be too warm for an Irish marine tank.

Even a large tank in an unheated room?

Even a large tank in an unheated room?
Think about their natural habitat, high of maybe 10-12 in the summer, lows of 6-7 in winter
Whats the average room going to be? even unheated probably at least 15-17 maybe more.
You could do it but you'd need a fairly big cooler.
They aren't that interesting TBH, freshwater crabs would be more of a spectacle and easier to keep by far.

Yeah, keeping tanks cool is a nightmare. We lost an axolotyl due to not being able to keep the water sufficiently cold in an unheated tank.
