Ares Tavor, Help!

    Hey guys
So I've recently got my hands on an Ares Tavor, I presume a lot of people haven't even bothered opening this thread, as they saw the "Ares Tavor" part and instantly thought...nope. :)
But my problem is relatively small (I hope!)
I used .23g SBD bbs, and whatever happened, a few bbs got themselves jammed in the barrel! I can't for the life of me get them all out, I managed two out, there may be three left? Anyway, my unjamming rod is fairly small for the long barrel on it, and I have one of the bbs in the chamber, beside the cylinder head, which refuses to simply fall out! Any ideas as to what I can do to get rid of the bbs, they're really jammed as the cylinder head can't even move now. I really don't want to have to take out the barrel, as its a trek and a bloody half so I've heard :D
Please somebody know what to do!
    Cheers :)

Did you try turning your hop completely off and then pushing the angled part of your cleaning rod up through the hop feed (mag side). This should let the bb go down the barrel.

Then use different bbs. .23bbs can be problematic. The only good quality 23s I have used are Excels. I generally stick to .2s or .25s.

If the bb doesn't come out you may have to take out the barrel.
Hopefully you didn't keep trying to fire the AEG to clear the barrel as this can cause the piston to fail.

Let us know how you get on.

Just tried that there, but the bb didn't budge a bit. It's really jammed!
I'll change my bbs so, as soon as I get this fixed
I was hoping it wouldn't come to taking out the barrel, it's supposed to be a real pain for this gun, I have to take out all other parts first :(
I may have fired it a bit too much, I wasn't too sure what was causing the muffled sound, then I noticed it was jammed! Hopefully no parts have come to harm
Thanks for your help anyway, I might have a look over it alright, I'm just scared of messing up :P

An old thread... I know, anyway.....
I finally got the guts to open her up, removed the bbs, and closed the GB again. However, the gun didn't fire when I tried it?
I opened it up again three more times, and each time I had the same problem!
I'd pull the silver bar , and absolutely nothing would happen!
This may be an easy fix, like its on safety (I hadn't installed the trigger rods at this point) and I haven't realized, but then again it may not be :(

And some reassembly help will be needed after this, as the fire selector trigger rod block is excruciatingly difficult to get back on! Any help?

    Thanks lads :)

I cant be sure but it sounds like part of your trigger mech is out of place.
Hard to know without seeing it.
I would take it apart again and slowly check the position of everything.

try hitting the gearbox reset underneath and see if that unlocks it.
this was invaluable to me when I had one http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/Ares-Tavor-Disassembly-t211806.html

one really good thing is the quick spring change means you wont have parts flying everywhere when you open it (if you have to)

I once saw someone do a trick on an ak where he got an air compressor ( unusual I know) stuck the pipe thingy in the mag well fired it up and all the jammed bbs came out. Not everyone has a air compressor on hand but if you do give it a go
