Just because Dacias website is so dire, here's some info

    3 engines, 2 trims (Alternative/Signature)

First one is the 1.2 as seen for a long time on the Clio. 75hp, 4 cylinders, - €280 road tax. (€9,990/€11,990)
    Next petrol is the new tce90 899cc 3 cylinder turbo with 90hp - €200 tax. (€11,090/€13,090)
    Only diesel option is the 1.5 dCi 90hp - €180 tax. (€12,490/€14,490)
    Delivery is €600
    Metallic is €500
    5 year warranty is €369

So assuming you want the proper warranty and the metallic, this is what they really cost: (Alternative/Signature)

The Sandero seems to have got pretty good reviews so far.

Just bear in mind that as it's a cheap car, there will be compromises in terms of its loudness on the road, the quality of the interior fixtures and fittings, the way it drives and its safety. It won't be getting five stars in the NCAP safety tests like the Clio, for example.

From a reliability perspective, it's unlikely to give a lot of trouble - especially if you go for the entry level 1.2 petrol, which is a simple non turbo petrol engine with nothing fancy to go expensively wrong. It just won't be a very nice car to be in, look at, or drive, and not as safe as some of its rivals. If it were me, I'd rather buy a 1 or 2 year old Fiesta over a brand new Sandero, a Fiesta is great little car and at that age will still give plenty of years of trouble free motoring.
