I think Chris Barry was a mistake he is old and boring and I think I'm the next jnlr results they will loose a lot if listeners.

I think moncrieff would be brilliant as his show on news talk he would make a great addition to the show and should be the host.

    What do you think ?

Moncrieff is no spring chicken either and I doubt he would leave a daytime slot for a night time one.

The FM104 phone show is the Jeremy Kyle show of Irish radio, I doubt Sean Moncrieff would be interested.

Why would Newstalk let him go?...Why would he leave a national station to go to a Dublin only one?

The likelyhood of a daytime national presenter going to do night, local work for a station in a different ownership group is effectively nil.

He is also about three years younger than Barry, if even, if "old" is such a concern for you.

They should get young people with fresh ideas, not just look for the same old hacks.

    Argghh :(
I thought you were saying he'd gone. Cant stand him. If he was gone I'd be able to leave the dial "moved" permanently

Sean Moncrieff I don't think would stoop so low as to host that car crash of a radio show.

I still think he would be better then Chris. Chris voice is so boring while Seans is so upbeat and exciting

Yes but why would Sean do it?

Maybe more money or a new challenge might persuade him.👌

If I didn't see Seán's massive head on a bus stop ad I'd probably still say there was only a one a million chance.

That poster scares me a little as I'm driving past it every morning.

Well he stooped to those "Shnakey Bakey" Rabo Direct Ads. Money talks.

Noooooooooo!!! Completely beneath Moncrief to do that contemptible intelligence wasteland of a programme. His Newstalk show is the best 3 hours of radio around

I agree, I'm in the car for hours each day and flick around all the stations and his show is by far the best. Having said that he is an acquired taste and it took me a very long time to warm to him.
