Any advice on a recommended, quality, quick turnaround bike service shop or mechanic in the lucan area - I had been going to Staggs cycle in lucan village for years but finally got fed up with the poor customer service and multiple failed deadlines on repair jobs. Thanks for any feedback.

I've had a few things done in Wheelworx on Fonthill Road and found them very good.
Don't go to Bikeworx in Celbridge unless you like
    getting ripped off.

Could also try Cyclezone in Blanchardstown - not a million miles away, but good set up and service there

Stagg cycles on main street lucan are worth a look too. Never had bikes repaired there, but they've been helpful and professional anytime I've been inside.

Sorry, can't help but notice this particular contradiction....... FWIW I've had the same experience with Staggs, and find the workshop in Wheelworx to be a lot better in that area. Haven't had a chance to go near Cyclezone yet, but Wheelworx were always quick to oblige the couple of times I went in for wheel truing, or when I lost a couple of loose cleat screws and they gave me some spares FOC.

I was a loyal customer of staggs for years as mentioned in the tread opening but unfortunately they prioritise selling new stuff over a honest and reliable repair service - I got let down one to many times so I am now now looking for a real alternative
