Roaming round Flight radar24, I was amazed to find no sign of a service from or to Dublin from Austria, did I miss something or are we not going to Austria.
Anyone know different, and are there other places in Europe we avoid.

As far as I am aware, there are no direct flights to the following places

    St. Petersburg, Russia
    Moscow, Russia
    Kiev, Ukraine
    Minsk, Belarus
    Tirana, Albania
    Belgrade, Serbia
    Ljubljana, Slovenia

Not exactly tourist hotspots, I grant you, but surely there would be enough interest for a weekly summer slot?

Oh yes in from the west, through the valley :) There is quite an amazing mountain that rises straight up at the northern boundary to the airport, I'll see can I get a pic when I'm home on the laptop :)

Edit: here you go for all to see, you fly in the valley pictured, quite an amazing approach that see's you bank over and head for the alps thinking where in gods name is he taking us :)

After looking up the receipts etc as the girlfriend kept them as a momento, we flew from Dublin with Austrian Arrow/Austrian Airlines.
We flew on a Fokker 100 if I remember, beauty of a plane :)

S7 Airlines operates Moscow-Dublin weekly during the summer months.

Yeah, I flew into Innsbruck with Austrian Airlines a few years ago in a Fokker 70. Inclusive Tour with Crystal, I think. It's quite something.

It's an amazing experience just standing and looking about, anyway I think we'll be shot because we're off topic :)
I could talk about Austria all day :)
