    Hi everyone

I have tried asking Citizens Information and Department of Social Protection but no one seems to know for sure so thought id ask here.

I was in college last year and instead of doing and add on year to get a higher certificate I chose to do an apprenticeship, I hate where I am now its in a different industry and not how I thought it would be. Id love to go back to college in september but dont know if il qualify for BTEA. I know you have to be on JSA for 9 months before college starts and even if I quit the apprenticeship now itl be very unlikely il get JSA before January. Now it says on the website payments from a FAS training course can count towards them 9 months, so my question is will my time getting paid by FAS for this apprenticeship count towards the 9 months?

    Thanks for your help

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
