Stumbled across this (www.cycleireland.ie) today and it looks interesting, especially if you're thinking of planning a route around Ireland.
They've put alot of work into it, routes, photos etc so it's bound to come in handy for explorers.

    Example: Mt Leinster loop
    > Mt Leinster mast road optional optional ;)

Also Ballyvourney > Glengarriff (incl. Priest's Leap & Caha Pass & Barley Lake climb)
    > 88km @ 1400m

/now we just need to improve the road surfaces.

Very well put together and very user friendly to navigate.
Been meaning to have a go at Kippure and this route looks great. http://cycleireland.ie/kippure-challenge-cycle-loop/

It would be a nice feature if you could download a gpx of the routes but I haven't seen that functionality

Easy enough to plot on ridewithgps/ bikeroutetoaster.

Yes but that means that I'd have to do it, much easier to download a file and stick it on the garmin than to draw out the route.

    Cool site indeed.

Maps, profile, videos, travel info and attractions, all with no ads. Good work.

Looks really good, I've wished for this type of site many times.

I'm slightly jealous that I never got around to building something similar myself.

It seems like its the link in the OP, there's a "%29" at the end of the link for some reason - type in cycleireland.ie to the browser and it works. Also clicking on the links further down the thread for specific routes and it seems to be fine.

Just had a look at the code of the site.

    Heres the gpx files location
    http://cycleireland.ie/wp-content/uploads/

Seems like it would be very easy for them to add direct links on the site.

Might be worth while emailing them. Remember its still in beta

Yep, and I don't have an EDIT button to click to amend it :o
