Trying to talk to this girl

First of all this is not a serious issue and if its in the wrong area please move it.

So here is the situation: I workout daily at my local gym, and about a week or 2 ago I noticed this girl who teaches dance classes to little girls on a monday night and I think a sunday. Anyways I caught her looking at me when ever Im in the gym or locker area, and tbh she is a good looking girl and I would really like to try and make a move.

But my first problem is that she is constantly surrounded by children and their parents so I do not want to be a creep and try chat her up in front of kids hahaha. The other issue is Im not really used to talking to girls I dont know when Im not out with the lads on a night, this would be knew for me... Im fine if its girls I know or meet on a night out but this is different, Im living in the UK right now and my English friends dont find this unusual thing to do, but coming from Ireland it always seems like we just go for girls we know or meet on nights out, so this situation is really different to me.

haha Im not sure what advice I cant get here but anything constructive cheers in advance for it.

Just talk to her man. Make up some excuse as an ice breaker like a few questions about her dance class and keep it light hearted. You might be able to gauge how approachable/keen she is from that.

A word of caution though you might perceive that she looks at you or is checking you out when in reality she might be looked to see is that guy staring at me again!

Find an excuse to talk to her. Pretend you have a niece/friend's kid who you think would like her classes and ask her something about them, how long she's been doing them, etc. Just strike up a conversation really! Maybe the first time you're talking to her, just try and get a sense if she's interested or not. Don't keep her too long, and tell her it was nice talking to her and you'll see her again. If you sense that she'd like to talk more, then approach her again another night and maybe this time ask her out/ask for her phone number.

cheers guys, what you both said makes sense, I might try the I have a niece thing, and then slightly go off that topic, and try find out if she is actually interested in me or not.

I might just be the guy that was staring at her hahahaha, so Ill try suss it out.

I wouldn't exactly go inventing kids that don't exist either, that could go very weird later on in the relationship if it turned out you don't have one. Just be casual. Comment on the classes, does she work anywhere else? Where did she train and stuff, or bring up gym related talk. Clearly you both share an interest in fitness, so that's already a place to start. good luck

I second this. A lie, even a fairly benign one like this, is nothing to try and start a relationship with. Three or four months from now you could be in a relationship with this woman and while she might laugh at the fact that you invented a niece to talk to her there's just as much chance she might find it... well, weird and/or dishonest. As well as that there's less chance that she'll mistake your conversation as a genuine enquiry about her class if you stick to the truth and you'll probably get a more legitimate idea of how keen (or not) she is if she realises your intent from the off.

Get chatty with everyone in the gym, that way she won't feel like you are zoning in on her when you talk to her.
