Hi I am look for a little help, I am looking to replace a very specific watch that was stolen form me, it is the Men' s Seiko Arctura Kinetic model SNL023P1, it has to be this exact model as it was a present and had sentimental value. As I have tried all to locate it I must now get a replacement.

I am wondering if anyone has seen this watch in any shops in Ireland, unfortunately as I am currently unemployed I dont have alot of money to replace it but have saved up 370 as that watch meant alot to me. I have found a Irish site FreedomWatches.ie that fits my budget but I am unsure if I can trust they are a genuine authorized dealer as they say so if anyone has dealt with them please let me know, it is very important that the watch is genuine and not imitation. Heres a link to the watch on that site, http://www.freedomwatches.ie/products/6537/10186/gents-seiko-arctura-kinetic-watch-snl023p1.aspx

Also as I said I am unemployed so money is tight so if anyone knows of a shop in Ireland that has this exact genuine watch for cheaper I would be very grateful as 370 is my max budget, I am planning on ordering this week so quick responses would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you for your time and any help you can give.

Well, their website is not working for me - I can't find a way to add anything to the cart. It doesn't seem to be running under SSL (not necessarily an issue, if they go to another site to collect the payment). The site says they're not taking orders until June 1st 2013, so at best it's a bit out of date.

I had a quick look at the brands they claim to be official dealers for, and they don't seem to be listed on their websites - but I may have missed something; perhaps they've a physical store elsewhere with a different name.

No harm in ringing and asking them what the story is, I suppose.

Here is one on eBay - is the strap on the one you posted white or stainless steel? It's in the US, but even if you got stung for customs, it should be on budget. Their shipping cost seems a bit OTT to me.

Hi Eoin, thanks for the help, unfortunately that watch on ebay is not the one I am looking for, it has to be Model SNL023P1. I was unsure of the website I was looking at I gave them a call but they are out of business and only have a few items left none of which is my watch :(

I did find one store so far that has it but its 600e so thats alot of money, I will try a few more but if anyone could keep an eye out or knows of a shop that has it for cheaper I would be very grateful for any information.

My mistake - eBay suggested similar results, and I didn't read it properly. You could try signing up to a load of similar watch forums and post wanted adverts there. Bit of a long shot, I know.

I sold a very similar watch to that a few months ago, but with blobs rather than numbers in the small dial. Unfortunately there are quite a few variations, different coloured dials etc (I see a blue dial variation on "creation watches" for example)

I have come across it second hand (£199):
    http://www.qualitytime-watches.co.uk/discounted-quality-watches-productdetails.aspx?ref=844

but I can't make any judgements on the quality/reliabilty of this particular site having no experience of it. However, there's a link to that site on the Watchuseek forum which is at least some reassurance. Also, the fact that they are selling some watches worth over a thousand is sort of a good sign in its way too :)
