    Bass player wanted for mixed style band -eg. Jazz standards, blues, fleetwood mac, Burt Bacharach, Nina Simone, Gershwin. Mellow light vibe, female vocal, piano and drums. Wicklow(east) based.Not suitable for professionals, weekly rehearsals initially, would hope to gig approx. twice a month Sense of humour essential - must like rhubarb crumble.

    Hi Wittycynic we normally practice in Ashford, it's about 10 mins from North of Wicklow Town.

    very strange mix !!! definitely interested in the blues part and early fleetwood mac not so sure about lighter jazz side of things do you have a guitar player to ? I might be interested I'm based in Arklow so not too far away have played in a a very informal band couple of gigs a year sort of thing is it an up right double bass your after by the way i hate rhubarb
