Looking to have a night out with 9 of the family on the 21st or 22nd of December. The main problem is some are coming home from abroad and only the 21st will suit. I've tried looking online but didn't see anything. Anyone know of an event or hotel putting on some entertainment on the 21st or 22nd of December with tickets still available? I was thinking fawlty towers dining experience in Belfast but it was sold out or maybe a murder mystery night. Anything will do though really. Last year we did karaoke but dinner and a show would be better.

Or maybe just go to the pub and have a row like most families do?

Dromoland Castle in Clare does a themed dinner and show, haven't been myself but heard it's quite entertaining.

They have one on the 21st of December.

    Here's their Christmas brochure [PDF]

Just wander about Dublin city center and you'll have a cracking murder mystery experience.

What about that hotel out by the airport? I can't remember the name, the one on the right on the way to the airport if you drive via Drumcondra. Anyway, last year East 17 were playing there and it was meant to be good craic. Maybe they'll have something similar on this year?

Don't think they were.. to paraphrase Jason Byrne - that was a fake poster.

My workmates went and met the band - they showed me pictures with them and all. It was the real deal. It was only 3 out of 4 of them though.

It actually made me sad inside that things had got so bad for East 17!
