Charging issues Lezyne XL power drive

I bought this on CRC, seems to be a few with similar issues but not any solutions out there. They give you a sub cable to charge it and have tried with a garmin plug, an apple plug and straight to laptop. Every time it flashes to say its chagrin then a minute later the light goes solid to say it's charged. It'll turn on for a few seconds and then turn off and be out of battery.
Before sending it back, thought I'd check if there are any fixes, is it a voltage thing or something? Thanks!

Have you another battery for the light to see if there's a fault in the battery you're using? I only ask as my SuperDrive came with one dud battery (replaced by Wiggle) that failed to charge at all (the same type of battery used by the PowerDrive) and that's the last & only problem I've had with it. If you need new batteries consider these off Ebay - you'll get a longer burn time than the standard Leyzne ones.

I put mine on its first charge last night, at about 9pm, 12 hours later the green light is still blinking- is this usual for the first charge?
It's being charged via the supplied cable inserted into the USB port of a Belkin 3 pin plug.

Mine's the new SuperDrive xl, not powerdrive.

I had to get them to send me a new battery and it was fine. But I also then had to send mine back last week as the light switch broke and won't work :(
Email them for a free battery as the default one seems to be a dud

    Not great is it.
This was a present so it's a bit of a shame to be asking my brother for receipts etc because its not working.
The instructions say it should take 6 hours - OR when the green light stops blinking, which could mean any length of time, but 13 hours now seems wrong.
I'll give it another few hours then admit its not working.

Sounds like what happened to me, try turn it on and it wouldn't stay on, CRC seem to know about it, I emailed them and they posted the battery that day free

I thought yours blinked for a min whilst charging, then the light went solid green as tho charged, but when you turned it on, it lit up then turned itself off?

Oops, didn't even re-read my original post and thought it was the same, sorry, it did go solid! apologies, have you tried it yet?

Yes I just unplugged it whilst it was still blinking and the light stayed on green to signal fully charged, heading out now but my evening's entertainment will be to set a timer and leave it on full to see how long it lasts.
I'll ask my brother for receipts just in case.

The light from the SuperDrive is amazing though. Shame there's a hurricane outside or I'd go for a spin tonight, might just go for a walk with it if it stops raining!

I've the bigger brother to this and it does the exact same thing. First charge I gave up after 36 hours. It eventually stopped on the second attempt somewhere between 6 and 12 hours. After using it for around 30 minutes on a quick test ride, it then took another 4-5 hours to fully charge again.

On mine, the deca drive, there is a HE charging mode which I can't get to enable. Wiggle has already said that a number of chargers just don't support it even though they are HE chargers. Lezyne do have their own one which I think I'm about to try and buy.

Oh and mine came with a second battery. It did the exact same thing. It really has to be some sort of picky charging circuit in the lights.

Dunno if it's usual but mine took approx 18 hours for the first charge when connected to a laptop

I think it must be usual, because my superdrive is charging and working fine now, actually getting longer than estimated on the 575 setting.
