Noise from Mira Elite Shower

    Hi there,

I have been hearing a noise from our Mira Elite ST shower after a few minutes of operation. The best way I can describe the noise is that of the motor is labouring or struggling to tick over. The shower still is working but I am wondering is there something that can be done to address this issue before it becomes a bigger problem

    Regards,

Could be starved of water.....there is an internal filter on these that stops any crap from the
tank entering the shower, maybe check this out to see if it needs cleaning.

I cleaned the filter where there was a small build of residue but nothing major. I left the shower run for 15minutes and did not hear the labouring noise that I had been experiencing.

Thanks for the advice SmallBalls hopefully your suggestion has done the job and fixed my issue but I will continue to monitor it over the next while before I am fully convinced.

I am bumping up this thread as I am still having the same issue of hearing a churning laboured noise coming from the shower. All along this noise could only be heard intermittently but for the last few days it is obvious from the moment the shower is powered up. The power and water flow is still consistent but it definitely sounds as if it is on its last legs even though is just 4 years old.

I have already cleaned the filter and there was little or no build up of residue.

Any suggestions what is the cause of this noise is and is it possible to fix?

    Thanks in advance
