Buying a car on finance, room to haggle?

    Well lads,

I got the finance approved on a new car, 15k list price.

Is there really any room to haggle on price for a car that cheap and on dealer finance?

    Would appreciate your thoughts!

    Lol, more of a reason.

The dealer is not only making money on the car but on the finance too!

I would have though there's always room to haggle. Just ask the salesperson - the worst they can say is no.

If they won't drop the price they might throw in a free service or at least a full tank of fuel.

Did you not agree the price first? Usual you agree a price and then arrange the finance. The dealer makes commission on the finance too so he won't mind you paying by that method.

Even if its VW finance and a PCP contract?

I didn't haggle the price there because I wanted to suss out if I would be given the finance first.

Going to ring around a few other dealers and see if they'll beat the price.
