Hi all, I'm looking for some help in identifying some cars in the photos below.

This photo is from Ormond Quay in Dublin, 1970. I'm looking for help identifying the car in the middle of the photo.

This photo is from Patrick Street and was taken in 1980. I'm looking for the name of the coupe type car travelling towards the camera.

i did not expect to be first outof the traps, middle car top is a Vauxhall Cresta, or a version of, the coupe coming towards you is a Lancia, perhaps even a Zagato, a bit untidy

    131 estate in the background?

2 Mirafioris in this picture - a saloon outside the Glen Abbey building and a Panorama estate just joining the road.

That Fulvia Sport in the second photo might even be the car I later owned - RZO700 - I can't imagine there were too many of them in Dublin at the time!

A series 1 sport by the look of it, was yours a s1 or 2?

It was an S1, first registered Jan 1969. It had a tiny front reg plate, as the car in the pic appears to have too.

That would have truly been an exotic motor to be nipping about Dublin in the 70's, would be a nice car to have now.

Was a kind of fashion thing at the time on some Italian cars, neighbour had a couple of X/19's with those small plates on them.

Iv a front plate off a 127 on the wall here that's tiny too now you say it.

Italian front reg plates in the 70's/80's (at least) were tiny (example below), and the spaces for them were tiny too, even on export models, so people liked the idea of using the original sized reg (even though it would have been illegal in Irl)
