I've found since Breaking Bad has finished, I keep comparing everything I watch to it now and always hear myself saying "It's no Breaking Bad".. Even did it with Love/Hate last night for god sake! Have to say really am gutted that in my opinion the best show that's ever been on TV is over.

Found this video the other day, this lad made one before S5p2 but he's done this now it's all over and it really is a reminder of how great the show was, and just how brilliant of an actor Bryan Cranston is.

*FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN THE LAST EPISODE, THERE'S PLENTY OF SPOILERS IN THAT VIDEO*

If you are missing Brian Cranston's performances you should watch The China Syndrome. It's about a TV reporter and her camera team witnessing something happen in a nuclear power plant and the subsequent attempt to cover it up.

It stars Jack Lemmon, Michael Douglas and Jane Fonda.

Its no secret that Brian Cranston is a huge fan of Jack Lemmon and a lot of people have drawn comparisons between the two actors including some of his co-stars.

I'd highly recommend watching it if only for Jack Lemmon's performance. His character (or the way Lemmon plays him) has an uncanny resemblance to Walter White.

I genuinely got shivers when I saw it.

Thanks for that, very interesting. When watching BB, on more than one occasion, I remarked to the OH, if ever they make film about Jack Lemmon, they need Cranston, so often in fact, she told to STFU:)

Breaking Bad has set the new (very high) benchmark standard.

I had a look at the trailer for it this morning, looks real good! Will have to watch it over the next couple of days.

im still massively confused where this "best tv show everz" came from with breaking bad. it was nowhere for the first 4-5 seasons, then all of a sudden everyone's proclaiming it the tv equivelant of scarlett johansens leaked nude pics

I'd disagree personally, I've never seen The Sopranos but I saw the Wire and up until BrBa I thought it was the best show ever made. One thing they did have over BrBa was the fact you got to see how the bad guys actions affected the people buying their drugs, made you look differently on the characters, which I suppose they probably didn't want people doing too much with Walt because there would have just been total hate for him.

It actually slightly ruins my enjoyment of the series when people call it the 'best evar'. It feels like I'm missing out on something when I watch it.

    Them's fighin' words!

Really though they're three excellent shows, all have their flaws but as far as tv goes they're the gold standard.
