Is it possible to be a member of two cycling Ireland clubs? I am going to try some road racing next year and need experience in group riding in particular, so can i join a road club as well as existing mtb club?
If not, how open are road spins for i suppose guests?

Don't see why not, Im a member of 2 and so are some friends. Of course my licence is only with one club and I "race" for one club.

You can be a member of one club but easily go on training spins etc with other clubs etc. However I am pretty sure you can only represent one club in events, if you are a member of a MTB club, you represent them in MTB & Road events and vice versa. You can guest for other clubs in certain circumstances AFAIK. Now waiting for someone to tell me all this is completely incorrect.

You can be member of two clubs no problem but only one of your clubs will be shown on your licence. At least that was the case the last few years, don't know if anything has changed, but I can't see why.

Yep - I know at 3-4 guys in our MTB club are also members of a road club and do road spins and league races with them! Having said that a lot of the MTB clubs would also run group road spins during the winter months.

Can you "club race or interclub race" for the club NOT named on your CI license if a member of two road clubs?
