How to get a part time job in Dublin?

I've been handing cvs in everywhere and no luck! I'm in my last year of secondary school, I worked in a children's party company so I have experience with children. Every shop iv sent a cv into never replies! Also when is the best time to put a cv into places for Christmas staff?

Now! I know a few companies are recruiting for Christmas staff .i.e Debenhams, Arnotts. Elverys. Just hand a CV into their customer services desk.

My suggestion would be to think of as many large chains you can think of and then check out the career/recruitment pages on their websites.

Are you giving your CV to the manager?
Has your CV been checked by a friend or family member who has experience writing CVs?
Are you highlighting the sales aspect of your previous job at the party company?
Are you wearing nice clothes (shoes, shirt, trousers, etc.) when going into each shop?

You have a lot of competition so make sure you are selling yourself properly.
