    hi
wonder if anyone can help,my daughter lost her passport at the weekend now has no photo id to collect her dole tomorrow, does anyone know if the post office will except something like a Dublin bus photo id? she has applied for a garda age card but that will take a couple of weeks, don't know if that's acceptable anyway . Any Ideas?
she has no driving licence either. starting to panic as she needs her dole money to get to fas meeting Wednesday.

If she has a letter from the Guards that stated her passport was lost she should be okay. It really is at the discretion of the person behind the counter.

Another option if she has an AIB account is to lodge the money to the account in the post office. When I do that they rarely ask me for ID

She might be able to get a yellow temporary sw issued id card that covers as an official id when collecting payments she should contact her local office
