    Hi all,

I booked a flight with lastminute.com and the details of the baggage allowance are quite vague, can anybody shed any light?

The flight is Dublin-Dubai via heathrow.

Dublin-Heathrow is with Aer Lingus and the forward journey is with Quantas.

Do the two carriers have a different allowance?

Im just presuming i'd be allowed the Quantas allowance of 25kg or so?

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Qantas ;)

Yes. You'll have the larger allowance, which in this case would be Qantas as Aer Lingus has none on Dublin to London :P

Be sure that it's Qantas, as they also codeshare flights from London to Dubai with Emirates. If it is operated by Emirates, then the Emirates allowance applies.

    I meant qantas, :-) sorry it's a slow day !

Yeah the flight is a QF flight, the a380 from LHR so I'll take it as 25kg I think.

Don't know who to contact as in aer lingus/qantas/last minute, so ill just try keep it to a minimum

    Thanks

BuffyBot is correct. The long haul allowance always applies on a connecting flight on the same ticket.

If you check the eticket that lastminute sent to you it should state the baggage allowance for the trip.

    Thanks for the info.

Actually I just got an email, very little info apart from flight times and to make sure passport in date. Nothing to do with baggage allowances.

says I will be issued e-ticket at the check in desk, which isn't much use to me really when I have the bags packed!

AFAIK, there's no log-in into lastminute.com to check order history etc.... similar to other websites
