baking properally for the first time

    im just after getting my first hand held mixer so now i have the chance to do some proper baking. could anyone recommend any good sites to get some nice easy recepies from?

    After Odlum's, try Delia Smith's Cookery Course. They were a series of books in which Delia explains absolutely everything you need to know as you go along, also her website has recipes. Her books are cheapest on Amazon.
