Confusing Pay

    Hello all :)

    Sorry to post this, but the links in the Sticky do not work.

    Not able to figure out if I am paid correctly, just hoping someone here can help me out or put my mind at ease :)

    Not even sure if I am on the right point in the scale.

    I have been teaching since 2007
    2007-2010 -cover for maternity leave (September to Middle pay, then sub, paid by department)
    2010-present - on my own hours, same school, each year.

    My total earning are 1773.11 each for night, with reductions ending up at 1171.41 Why confuses me is the Gross Pay YTD at the bottom of payslip is 23663.38?

    Also does anyone know if My Masters should count towards my pay and replace the H.Dip payment instead?

    YTD is 'year to date'.

    Academic Qualifications
    1. (a) (i)H. Dip in Ed. (Pass) €591
    (ii)Higher Froebel Certificate €591
    (b)(i)H.Dip in Ed. (1st or 2nd Hons) €1,236
    (ii)Ard Teastas Gaeilge €1,236
    (c) Primary Degree (Pass) €1,842
    (d) Masters Degree by thesis or exam (Pass) €4,918
    (e) Primary Degree (1st, 2nd or 3rd Hons) €4,918
    (f) Master Degree (1st or 2nd Hons) €5,496
    (g) Doctors Degree €6,140

    Either of the allowances (a) or (b) may be held together with any one of the allowances (c) to (g).

    It depends on when you got your masters, I think if you got it before 2011 you should be okay but check that date out.

    Cheers for that, was on to dept on Monday afternoon, got it sorted, they never added on the masters, have to fill in some forms now and will be sorted ;)
