    does anyone know of an irish oral book that helps with general phrases and vocab? Not gleasnotai because I want something that deals with the actual comhrá

    I find that people like "Ar Aghaidh Libh". Good vocab and covers most topics that can come up, also has an aural section. Think edco are the publishers, but not sure.....

    Líofa (Folens) is fine if you're willing to learn off a ton of phrases.

    There are a lot of phrases. Most of them should have some use in the oral, but beware or Béarlachas (English sounding Irish words) as there's a bit of that in the book when a better "Irish" word exists.
