This comedian sums up the whole flag issue in the north.

    I thought it was brilliant.

Anyone wanting a brief history of flag disputes in the north, this is a must watch.

    :D

    Brilliant, and very true :))

I guess he could also have added the Basque flag . . .

The Palestine and Israeli flag stuff is pathetic from both sides.

It's the best way to deal with the whole flag thing.

    Ridicule.

It was Unionism as much as anything that protested against it. Unionism is far from irrelevant.

So you're saying that Unionism backs the fleggers?

I remember they had big screens in Derry for when David Cameron issued an apology on behalf of the British government. There were people there with Palestinian and Basque flegs. WTF kind of world do these nutters live in???

Are you sure? I'd say they're as irrelevant as republicans which to me is completely irrelevant except when they start taking up valuable time and effort by the news media. I for one would far rather be informed about ........aah f' it I couldn't be arsed. The only place northern politics is relevant is in the walter mitty minds of a small number of small minded people in a small corner of a small island off the west coast of Europe. Take yer flegs and shove them up in yer collective holes.... bunch of muppets.

Certainly Unionists in the political scene do. It was them who practically called for people onto the streets last year. Hopefully this Christmas passes off much better as largely the flag thing on city hall has been forgotten about.

As a comedic routine i thought this was ****, lazy and not very funny. i dont regard jake o'kane higly as a comic anyway. his whole schtick is doin that irritating accent and pretending he's better and smarter than everyone.

Sad reality is that these extremists are destroying relations in north, when I was in mayo over the summer I caught the rte news during the marches in Belfast, that is all people from the south see, and no wonder they instantly dettach themselves and shun United Ireland and all that goes with it. I'm nt going to start quoting dates from times gone by where the other side did this blah blah blah. Bottom line is , british invaded Ireland, removed the Irish language from basically all over north, removed culture , removed sports list goes on, then when some extreme biggots who feel the need to fly the Union Jack 24/7 are asked to curtail themselves they riot and preach about culture being eroded, it's annoying that people in the South aren't seeing this ons daily basis and listening to the wishy washy ' for the greater good' codswallop British media is spewing out.
