Looking to sell my JG AUG A3 was bought early 2011 and used in multiple skirmishes.

Upgrades:
G&P metal hop up
6.03 dia. Tightbore barrel
New hop up rubber
ULTIMATE Cylinder head
ULTIMATE air nozzle
ULTIMATE Aluminium Piston Head
SHS Piston
Its also been re shimmed
(All gearbox parts have been done in last few weeks and fires under 1J)

Comes with a Bi-pod grip
4 x 330rds hi cap mags (retail €20 each)
8.4v mini type battery
Standard wall charger (would recommend a smart charger if new player)

Paid €230 brand new
Plus €170 on upgrades and internals

Ideal for new players

Fps of the gun is chronoed at 280-285 fps with .20 bbs I was also told the original spring had to be changed in order for it to be under a joule


INTERESTED PARTIES PLEASE READ FOLLOWING...

The operation of the gun is flawless however potential buyers should be aware that I've made some customisations.

1) the battery compartment in AUGs is very limited and so to make it bigger I cut the plastic plate in half in order to fit a 9.6v (don't recommend using a 9.6 since new spring was installed). You can google this mod to see what I mean

2) the inner barrel is a pain to remove when cleaning so it is not fixed to the outer barrel. Once the upper receiver is removed the barrel slides easily out. THIS DOES NOT EFFECT THE GUNS PERFORMANCE WHAT SO EVER.

3) the fire/safety button had a small metal plate that sat behind the button that holds it in place without it the button slides out easily. This is easily fixed if this piece can be acquired.

As for pics I shall have them up tomorrow hopefully having issues with the internet.

Also forgot to mention that I can post these Items out at buyers expense and I want to keep all items together no splits.

The 3 solid black mags have only been used once the transparent has been used only a few times but is still in great working condition.

like I already mentioned in a previous post the wall charger works but a smart charger would be a wise investment the battery is 8.4v 1200mAh

Modifications:

Image "AUG 8" is the battery compartment modified so as to fit a larger 9.6V battery (WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING 9.6V BECAUSE OF NEW SPRING)

Images 9 & 10 is the barrel and metal hop-up with the cleaning/unjamming rod

came across this today when cleaning the gun.

Image "AUG 11" slight crack in mag well. glued it (sorry it looks worse than it is was a bit careless the glue *face-palm* however it WILL NOT cause any issues)

Chronoed the gun again the spring has finally settled so its FPS is around 285-310 on average.

Just out of interest, would you maybe be interested in a Trade for a licensed Magpul MASADA AKM?

It would be this exact Model, untuned and shooting @ 310-320fps out of Box. Only thing that was done was wirering it to Deans. Would also include 2 170rds MidCaps

Im curious about the modifications you've done. now Im not the most learned about airsoft at any stretch :P

And also how accurate it is and how far it can reach out in ideal conditions (no wind basically)

No bother well the original battery compartment was very small and I was only limited to using an 8.4 volt battery. By the modification I made I could put in a bigger battery 9.6 volt which makes the guns rate of fire and gives the gun a nicer thump out the end of the barrel.

The barrel in these types guns are a bit more difficult to clean so I removed the screws that held it in place. this allows the barrel to slide out easily for cleaning and because its a tight bore it needs to be cleaned after every game so BBs wont jam in the barrel.

The Upgrades give the gun a longer life and help improve performance.

As i already said the barrel is a tight bore so it very accurate abd because its a long barrel 509mm to be exact so you can get a 6inch grouping (all the bbs land in a circle about 6inch wide...... sorry if I sound like I'm talking down to you) at about 60ft.. the gun can hit targets at a push about 80ft (but its not accurate) not far but for airsoft thats pretty decent.
