My sister has a small ensuite and is looking me to put on a shower door on here shower. The shower would be a sq shower.with 3 tiled walls and one open where the door will be going. What im wanting to know will i be able to just drill into the tiles for support or will i have to take tiles off and put in some supports in the stud wall. Another thing is that the 2 sides of the walls where the door is going, they arent plumb. They are out by an inch. How would i go about installing this door if the walls are out by an inch.

Just drill the tiles it will be fine and when you get the new door, part of the frame slots into the other so you shoulh have about 40mm to mess with

are you sure because all there is is a stud wall with a hollow inside (thats if i dont hit a stud timber) Will this be enough to hold a shower door. I could see it coming lose.

I think there should be four screws on each side then seal it on the outside it will never move

It wont budge, once the tiling is done correctly, the bond between the tile and the plasterboard is very strong. Just be careful drilling them, don't use hammer action on the drill and don't be forceful with it.
Get new sharp drill bits to suit. worst that could happen is that you crack a tile, which shouldn't happen if your careful.
