Promising cast, though not much laughs in the trailer and I despise canned laughter!

Yes it has got a very good cast especially Margo Martindale (who was great showing her comedy chops in New Girl as Nick's mama)

Going in to The Millers I had incredibly low expectations and the pilot hardly set the world on fire but of all the new sitcoms it's the one with the most potential. The cast are all good and it's surprising just how well they've found their groove so early. Arnett is doing his straight man role and you've seen him turn in the same performance a dozen times before but thanks to the strong writing and his costars it feels fresh.

Like all of Garcia's pilots there's a lot that doesn't work and many of the jokes are juvenile and old as the hills but there's a spark of wit and buckets of potential. Even the fart jokes here aren't all that irritating and in all the new pilots not one has had a joke about masterbation that's a tenth as funny as the Beau Bridges and Margo Martindale sex conversation.

I can really see this developing into something special and much like Raising Hope once the kinks are ironed out this has the potential to follow My Name is Earl and Raising Hope as one of the great sitcoms of the past decade

Been catching up on all the new season sitcoms...
This was one of the stand-outs for me... Loved it...

I didn't enjoy this at all.... the problem isn't the cast but the writing felt very stale to me.

And that's coming from someone who's a huge Greg Garcia fan.

    Disappointing, but hope it improves!

It was hit and miss for me, for every laugh there was a joke that fell flat but there is certainly a lot of potential and a great cast. I'll give it another few episodes for sure.

All of Garcia's shows take a few episodes before they find their rhythm. My Name is Earl only found its feet around episode 4 or 5 and Raising Hope only really started showing promise after the pilot and the dropping of the child endangerment.

I have a really good feeling after the pilot. Like most others here I think there are problems but there's so much potential that I can wait for things to settle down. Margo Martingdale is always a treat and she doesn't disappoint here. Looking forward to the next episode.

It started off well I thought but the latest episode was quite poor. I didn't even make it to the end of it (did JB Smoove make an appearance? - definitely needs more of him!)
