Recently upgraded my desktop machine with a 7870 and an SSD (how did I cope without an SSD ?).

My old graphics card is a 1gb 5770 :o , The 1tb drive , I'm still using for data (and I would never sell a hard disk, I've seen what some data recovery tools can do)
I reckon the 5770 is too old to sell , Oxfam would be looking at me stupid , so I guess the question is , what do you fine folks do with old cards ?

5770 is perfect for a HTPC.

It's free to try it on Averts.ie I reckon it would sell.

I've put old PCs and parts on freecycle in the past, people are always chuffed to get something for free in these hard times and less hassle than selling.

You'd definitely get €30-40 for it on adverts, its still decent enough for a some casual gaming/HTPC usage.

You'd still get 50 euro for it on adverts, going by trends.

It's also still OK for gaming, if you're either playing certain types of games, or even playing the latest and greatest at low enough resolutions on older monitors.

I have crossfired 5770s and still manage at the very least 30-40 fps at 1920 x 1080 in most games and that is without even overclocking them and I am still using a P45/775 system. If I had a newer system I could probably get a lot more out of them.

@OP. Like Terror said you could sell it fairly easily on adverts for about €50 or if you went to ebay you might even be able to get a bit more for it.

A quick look on ebay and it seems you could get anywhere between €40 and €120 for one.
