Chocolate milk

    Is chocolate milk good for recovery after soccer training? Also if it is,has anyone got a recipe as I assume shop bought chocolate milk isn't as good

    I use it after running (around 200ml) and find it great. It's got protein for your muscle recovery, liquid (hydration), calcium, and a wee touch of sugar.

    I wouldn't bother making it tbh, chocolate is chocolate, just buy the fresh stuff. I know there's an Avonmore one but I can't remember its' name, and another called Frijj (sp) or something like that. Both are decent.

    It's great to drink immediately after training, to bridge that time it takes to get home, shower and make something to eat.
