    I really believe that people who seek out political office aren't the best choice. They are people who either want power/control for the sake of having it, or who want prestige, or who honestly believe they are smarter than everyone else. Or, in some places, happen to be born into the ruling family.

    Those are all bad traits for a good leader, IMHO.

    The best people to have in charge aren't going to be on the ballot. They're busy having a good live. They're smart, humble, giving types of people that usually enjoy some level of success but aren't willing to trample over others to rise to the top.
