High percentage of 'betas' in Irish society

About 2 years ago, I made some huge changes in my life, I started to take care of my appearance; wear nice (not necessarily expensive) clothes, hit the gym hard, wear aftershave and a whole host of other little things that improve general health and appearance.
Without trying I became more outgoing and confident (without being an a**hole *I hope) By now this type of lifestyle has become second nature and I'm reaping the rewards.
One issue I have now though is that I notice when people don't try very hard to be social or care about how they look. I think my awareness of these type of people is heightened by the fact I wasn't always quite so 'alpha' myself. It's gotten to the point where I become irritated when I see someone not living up to their potential in a physical and social sense.
It's beyond a joke at this stage, walking around college I would say 60-70% just don't care about their appearance sometimes to the extent where it's obvious they haven't even taken a shower.

    Am I being harsh?

    You're still not an 'alpha'.

Kudos on the aftershave! You are living the dream. Ps. The real world is not college. Dude, do you even bench?
