Calling any women cyclists in Wexford!

    Hey all,

    I'm a hobby road cyclist from just outside Wexford town and am just wondering if there are any other ladies out there interested in joining up to go for spins during the week/weekends? I usually go with my boyfriend but I'm at a lower level of fitness to him so I tend to hold him back a bit. I love going out on my own but it'd be nice to have someone around the same fitness as me to train and build up stamina and strength.

    At the moment I like going for around 40km spins averaging about 25km/hr!

    Wexford Wheelers meet up on Sunday mornings 0930 in the Bullring. There is usually three groups and all levels are catered for (40km at 25km/h, you'll be fine). There are women members too. You will be welcomed.

    You have two hours to get down there from time of posting this!

    I think you can go with the wheelers a few times before having to join.

    I know a few girls who cycle regularly and would love company :) I usually go out for a long spin at weekends myself but am marathon training till the end of the month, give me a shout if you're interested after that.

    www.racing795.com has an active group of women cyclists. Based in Bunclody so might be a bit far for you.
