Seanad Abolition MAYO HIGHEST 'YES' VOTE

Is it purely because Enda is from Mayo that Mayo backed the Seanad proposal? Personally I voted no. I think the 17 million wasted on asking the question needs to be reviewed. Given that we are reviewing our whole constitution one referendum on all the questions would have been better.

Lastly I think its time Enda got some balls to debate the issue on TV.

People were confused by the choice of "yes" or "no" in the Seanad vote. You think those people who couldn't spare 5 minutes of their time researching a yes or no vote are going to spend time answering multiple questions?

It was interesting that Mayo had the highest yes vote and Dublin had the highest no vote. Enda kenny must be sick of Dubs having watching them beat Mayo in the GAA and now watch them trounce his referendum.

Like the Dubs beating the Mayo jibe - but i think it is too simplistic to say the east out voted the west it was close everywhere
Mayo of course the FG team would mobilise their support to vote, 4tds and a local affiliation to An Taoiseach is understandable.
Maybe Dublin South East was a support for Lucinda or its former td Micheal McDowell..
