They're usually employed by the Daily Heil. What do you call a paper which never repudiated or apologised for its support for Nazism calling someone who fought the Nazis?

    The Farmers Journal?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Context is more or less provided in it. If it wasn't google isn't that hard to use

on the video, fair play to Campbell. Might not be an angel himself but the Daily Mail are totally repugnant and you can tell even the Deputy didn't agree with the headline

It's a pretty poor standard of debate on both sides by two very very dislikeable people. Didn't know anything about the Mail ownership before though, which was interesting.

Alistair Campbell led the UK along with Tony Blair into one of the biggest disasters in military and British politics in history with the Iraq war which has cost the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

Normally I'd object to that kind of thing. It's the mail though....its a moral duty.

I wonder would he still have said all that if this groveling letter to Daily Mail editor Paul Dacre, where he pointed out how he has always admired the paper, had worked and he managed to get a job there?

So? What has that got to do with this? He's still right in this case.

The Mail really is a horrible rag.

Campbell was doing his job with Blair though. He was a spin doctor, and a damn good one at that. Blair was the one coming up with the policies.
