    Facebook....mostly to chat with my dad who lives in another province. Cheaper then long distance over the telephone.

    I'm on both and both are annoying in places but so is real life socialising.

    Facebook is handy for staying in touch although I made the mistake of adding too many people at the start and I'd feel bad de-friending them now, especially if I sent the friend request. I just hide the more annoying ones from my news feed.

    I don't follow many celebrities. The ones I like are usually not on Twitter and of the ones that do, I only keep the ones that are interesting/funny. That's less than ten I think. I don't really use Twitter much anymore though. Not many of my friends are on it and it's easier to stay in contact with them on Facebook.
