I use Dermalogica's Precleanse along with the Microfoliant. I find both products work brilliantly together. They're not cheap, but they've lasted me for well over a year each.

My skin would be normal, sometimes slightly oily around my chin. A good friend of mine has combination skin and she also finds these products work well for her.

I have combination skin too and I used to use this one and found it amazing. I wouldn't use it every day though, only every second or third day as it can be drying.

I bought this recently and have used it 2-3 times so far. I only use it at night though as it can be drying so you need to use a good moisturising moisturisier afterwards.

Like the Neutrogena wash, I use it every 2-3 days, it leaves my skin feeling so so soft though.

I LOVE "Clean and Clear Cream Wash"
It's a white cream that gently but effectively cleans your skin deep down and leaves it feeling tingly and refreshed.
I'm using it years and rarely get spots.

I use the Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel foaming fash wash. It's about a fiver and it literally melts every scrap of make-up off in seconds. I love it. It's normally on3-for-2 aswell.

+1 for this, have repurchased this about 4 times, does the job and feels quite soothing on my skin.

My skin has honestly got better since I stopped using face washes. I use a liquid cleanser (Nivea) with cotton wool every night to take my make-up off, and then when I have a shower I just wash my face with water. Face washes are a waste of money in my opinion! I now get maybe 1 spot every 2-3 months..

But then everyone's skin is different..

    This :)

I have oily-combo skin and switched to a cleansing milk around 2 years ago. I have less dry patches, less redness and get less spots from the irritation normally caused by washes. I use Lush's 9 to 5 and it's pretty decent, breaks down my makeup quite well, but I do use an exfoliator about 2-3 times a week because I have high cell renewal. I still gets acne/spots but the blemishes are normally hormonal, or due to a bad diet :o

I used to think I had to use a wash because my skin needed tough love, but it's really the opposite. Once you let your skin do it's own thing and work with it rather than against it, most skin problems become more manageable.

Myself and my friends (all with different skin types) use Cetaphil as recommended by a dermatologist. It's great when used correctly and doesn't leave residue my skin has never been better!

Indeed. I'm the complete opposite, my skin is in much better nick since I switched from cleanser to face wash. Takes a fraction of the time too.

Having said that, I know some people love the ritual of cleansing and toning. My sister's favourite part of the day is getting into her pj's, then taking off her make-up in front of the tv.

I save a fortune on cotton wool compared to her, though!
