Need Help Choosing Between 3 Laptops!

Ok so my laptop is really on it's last legs, screen fecked, has to be always plugged in..

Looking at these three laptops, wouldn't mind heading out tonight and buying one of them.

The Asus does look good spec wise and for the price, but tbh I don't like the actual look of it, and the clicker for the mouse just looks like it's all part of the one, I'm used to two little bar things separate and under the scroll pad....or would that matter?

I have 500 quid to spend btw. Both stores are close to me so would be able to get tonight.... Harvey Norman and PCWorld aren't far either if anyone knows of any decent one's on there!

I just had a ASUS X501 here today (with a Celeron 1000M, Windows 8 WEI 4.8, €299 @ HarveyNorman), it's actually quite nice and very slim. Cons: No optical drive and only 2 USB ports (one of them USB 3.0). The processor in the model you have linked is an older Sandy Bridge B980, the one sold at HarveyNorman has an Ivy Bridge Celeron 1000M, only marginally slower but better graphics.

The Tosh at DID has certainly the best specs The old 2nd gen Core i3 is still faster than the other two but 480 yoyos is way too expensive.
