Can someone please confirm before I order.......

M5 bolts are the correct size for the 4 screw plate that attaches the bars to the stem?

M6 bolts are the size for attaching the stem to Steering Fork?

The Pazzaz stem I have to hand here agrees with that but I have a suspicion some stem to steerer are M5 also.
If you have the stem already a handy way to check is remove a bottle cage screw (always M5) and test.

    Cheers Vic.

Yeah, after a bit of online creeping around it seems that I have M6 bolts on stem/steerer and seat clamp. M5 on the faceplate. All rusting (must've been sweating at some stage on the bike, cannot remember the last time though :))

Got a bunch of both bolts, SS, off eBay for chips.

Possibly from that time you put the bolts at the other end of the stem in the wrong way round and only realised your error in the middle of a race ...;)

True. I did that, bars swung around mid race as a Tiernans guy went into the ditch and we swerved to avoid him.
Bolts on back to front. Day before race adjustment. Only because a certain female Vet told me that I was sitting up too high on the bike. Dropped the bars a spacer or two and put bolts on wrong way.
