Buying individual chain links

    Heya

    Just wondering if anyone knows where I could pick up individual chain links for a 1/8 chain? Would your standard LBS stock these normally or just have some?

    I'm in the process of doing up an old bike and the chain I have is a few links too short. IO have a chain tool to get them on.

    You're probably better off just buying the chain. The only thing I can think of are quick links but these only have the riveted section. I don't ever remember seeing the section with the bearings in it for sale as an individual link.

    Those chains can be bought for less than 10€ online, halfords or LBS. Your LBS should have plenty spare links lying around after cutting new chains. Someone on here might be able to help you wit some for the price of a stamp. Sorry all mine are 3/32.
