I'm doing this route tomorrow (Sat 05OCT2013) , leaving the Chapelizod gate of Phoenix Park (point A) at 09:00. Should take around 3hrs 30mins with Coffee Stop in Enniskerry.

Can meet anyone along the way. Ranelagh or Dundrum flyover would be good meeting points.

The pace will not be very hot but there will be minimum dilly-dallying at the top of climbs once the group (if there is one) is reformed.

PM me your number if interested.

You are responsible for your own safety.

Sound, PM me your number just in case there is any issue. Are you thinking of going longer?

Done. I wouldn't mind going over the Gap at least.

    Tempted.

Are you married to that route? Like, are you meeting people along the way? Because otherwise there must be a way to skip a bit of that Ranelagh, Dundrum stuff - it's a bit commutey rather than Saturday spinny. IMO.

I'm to join in ranelagh. But happy to vary . Will check tomorrow morning to see if rendezvous point to change.

well not entirely wedded, but the spin must include a coffee stop.

Great spin, great company. The cracking weather prompted us to push on a bit more than planned. 130km for me.

Don't worry lads - I made it. The discomfort was excruciating from Blessington to Brittas. Then I realised it didn't hurt when out of the saddle. So I stood up the rest of the way in.

Thanks for coming out, thanks a bundle.:pac:

The guilt was terrible. We made Pete double his original distance. And then left him behind.

    Where is this magical place?

If I told you it wouldn't be magic anymore - you have to find it for yourself.
