Halfords price changes

I was having a look at a couple of things on the halfords website this week. I got an email yesterday declaring 10% of all bikes and bike accessories for this weekend only. I went back to the website today and found that the prices on the things I had been looking at had gone UP slightly.

I am not really that outraged or surprised, but I am a little curious to know if this is a common occurrence, or is my mind playing tricks on me? Anone notice this before?

Got that email but i think it took me to the UK web site. So i was thinking it was only for the UK & not for Ireland. But saying that i never checked the Irish one after.

I notice the price of their stock change from week to week. Goes up and down & down and up again.

Noticed the price changes alright - stuff like chain cleaner are now too expensive for me to continue giving Halfords my money as close as they are to hand. So instead thebikestore.ie are getting the vote for the cleaning stuff - they're 50% cheaper on the chain cleaner alone!
