    Hi,

Does anybody know if it is possible to download the latest patch to memory stick and then upload to the console?

I can seem to find a download available anywhere online and my PS3 is having wifi connectivity problems of late meaning I can't play the game without this damn update!

Update hasn't been released yet - they're still working on it.

When I tried to load the game last night it informed me that an update was available and I had to download before I could proceed. Unfortunately due to the recent wifi probs it only got to 1% (on a few attempts) before disconnecting.

Do you know how people with no internet connection at all get around this prob?

Do mean Patch 1.01? Try connect your PS3 wired to your router. Or create a Personal hotspot on your Smartphone (if you have one). Patch is 1.01 is only 39MB so it wouldn't take more than 10 mins

if they dont have an internet connection they dont have to do updates it will just play the game . Also when they buy a new game sometimes it will have new ps3 system update on too.

Hey Klair88, yeah whatever patch came out this week.

There's actually quite a distance between the PS3 and the router which I believe to be reason for the connectivity problem, although sometimes it works fine and there's no probs with any other devices in this room. It'll be a bit of a ball ache to move everything to the router room and back again but i may have to bite the bullet.

Three charge through the nose for setting up a hotspot so that option is def out the window.

deafroadrunner, i'll give offline play a shot (if it'll allow me!) until i can sort out the wifi.

    cheers

Just press O on the controller if you are prompted to download it. You should still be able to play it, just not online. It shouldn't prompt you if you are not online with your PS3

Apologies, I thought you meant the update to fix the online. :o

1.02 is out this morning as a matter of interest. Hopefully it helps with the online issues I was having

It's out now - had to quit online as it froze(again), went back to game and the patch was there.

Have you tried Getting one of these? Here's a link for a type of Extender. Shop around and get one cheaper. They work wonders!
