Sure is. I've only played that course for 35 euro, once was on a Saturday, what a bargain.

I got a similar deal to play tomorrow at 14:30 and was really looking forward to playing it but got an e-mail wednesday evening to say they had to cancel as they were having their members medal that day.

Needless to say i wasn't happy but what can you do?

No. Just said the next time would have been 3.20 so they couldn't offer an alternative and were going to issue a refund which could take up to a week to show in my account.

I suppose I could grumble and say I won't use them again but they offer great deals on courses. I booked moyvalley instead for only €15 each. Crazy.

By the way the course looks nice but has anyone played it and what you think?

Moyvalley? Played it once a couple of years ago and enjoyed my round. Course is akin to an inland links and reminded somewhat of the Carton Montgomery or Carlow courses in terms of the way they let the rough grow suitable for hay harvest. Some people describe the course as somewhat forgettable and bland but would have to disagree, thought there was a nice variation of doglegs, water hazards and bunkers and there's a sublime finish with holes 16-18.
Not sure of what present condition and maintenance is like since it's struggling financially somewhat but due to play it again next week in a society so hopefully it meets expectations. Enjoy your round and the drive in the race track like driveway from the front gate. Great value for €15 and can't go wrong, used to be big money to play with all the hype of Darren Clarke putting his name behind it.

Unless the wind is up Moyvalley is indeed a bit bland, nice 16th and not a bad 18th to finish, long holes throughout.

in good nick,as has been said maybe a bit bland and open
but def very good value for 15 euro
