Can you found out from NCT ctr that a car for sale has already gone thought NCT and failed and what on?
(presuming the owner as said it has just ran out and didn't bother taking it in)

No, there would be data protection issues with them giving out that information.

If you put the reg of car for sale and it comes up with
This booking occured in the pass,
5 days noticed has lapse a €22 euro charge will apply on your next booking.
would this indicate that it has already been booked?

    Put the reg into where?

Could do a cartell check on it...that provides past NCT info
or put the reg & first reg date into the nct site & it'll say if a test is due.

You can put the reg on the nct site on line as if you are booking a nct.thats what i did

Put reg in there and it will come up "Your vehicle is not eligible for Inspection" if it has NCT

Not the answer to your question but if you suspect the seller is hiding the truth about this then maybe you should look elsewhere for a car.
